SQUID (Superconducting Quantum Interference Device) are probes able to detect very low variations of magnetic flux: they are cold by a cryocooler to less than 50 K temperature. By using a sofisticated decoupling system the exposition of SQUID transducers to vibrations and electromagnetic noise from a commercial cryocooler has been minimized.
Possible application : NDE analysis of aeronautical components
